Since graduating from Winchester School of Art in 2011, Adrienne's work has been seen on catwalks and fashion shoots from London to Dubai and she has established herself as an up and coming talent to watch in the fashion industry. Her crocheted pieces are a mix of the eclectic and vintage, with whimsical work inspired by everything from Fire and Ice to cutting edge Japanese fashion, while her hairpieces speak of darker, cyberpunk themes with a Victorian twist. Adrienne has already had several notable collaborations to her name, including working with celebrity hair stylist Guy Kremer, designing exclusive accessory pieces for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy show, as well as fronting the accessories for a food-themed shoot for make-up giants MUA with her now infamous Love Heart Ring. The busy working mum of two says she finds her inspiration from a variety of sources, including: Travel with family as a child and now with her own children, Childhood stories and nostalgia, nature and the world around her, it really depends on how she feels and sees her surroundings at any given moment.
And it seems as if next year will be as busy as the last, with planned projects and show filling up Adrienne’s diary. Notably Adrienne will be showing work at Alternative Arts Fashion week as well as having exhibitions of her work planned for June and September 2012 in London and her hometown of Southampton.
She said she was thrilled to be invited to the Alternative Arts Fashion week to show on 19th April at Spittlefields, London, saying:
“This really is an exciting opportunity to showcase the new collection and to meet with friends I have already made in the industry as well as meet other exciting designers and fashion professionals at such a prestigious event for new design talent.”
